The Firm Welcomes Dakota Hickingbottom as an Associate
Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek, a leading San Diego-based law firm that provides businesses and individuals with a full range of legal guidance, is pleased to announce that Dakota Hickingbottom has joined the firm as an associate in the Litigation Department.

Hickingbottom brings litigation experience and a unique vantage point of the judicial system from her two year judicial clerkship with the Hon. Ruth Bermudez Montenegro, a district judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. She earned her law degree, magna cum laude, in 2021 from California Western School of Law, where she served as the executive lead article editor for the California Western International Law Journal and as an associate editor for the California Western Law Review. She was also a research assistant to faculty and a large group tutor for the Contracts I and II, Business Organizations, and Evidence courses. She is a resident of La Jolla.
