Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek Shareholder Andrea Myers is serving as the 2024 president of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers San Diego chapter, one of the region’s most vibrant and preeminent legal organizations. Myers has been on the Board of Governors for almost ten years and has chaired several committees.
Founded in 1973, the ABTL has five California chapters. The San Diego chapter, which includes trial lawyers from both sides of the table as well as judges and justices, has almost 500 members. The organization’s mission is to promote competence, ethics, professionalism and civility in the legal profession.
“I cannot think of a legal organization that does a better job of creating a forum to address issues important to business trial lawyers,” Myers said. “I am excited for our upcoming educational dinner programs and networking events and to work with other talented members of the bench and bar.”
Myers represents clients in complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on contractual disputes, business torts, and real estate litigation. Recognized as a Best Lawyer for commercial litigation and as a San Diego Business Journal Leader in Law, Myers has also emerged as a leader at SCMV. She serves as the chair of marketing, associate development and recruiting at the firm.
