Fish & Richardson has been named the #1 firm in the country for intellectual property (IP) litigation in the fourth annual Corporate Counsel “Best of 2019” survey of top providers to the in-house corporate legal marketplace. “Innovators trust us with their most important matters because we know how to win. Our world-class trial lawyers are in court nearly every day. This wealth of courtroom experience means we know how to present the facts and the law in ways that are clear and compelling to judges and to juries. It’s why we outperform other firms in high-stakes patent infringement actions and why we are in such high demand for our services,” said Kurt Glitzenstein, Practice Group Leader for Fish’s Litigation Group.
Fish handles and wins more IP cases than any other firm, in district court, at the International Trade Commission (ITC), and at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. In 2018, the firm won 14 patent cases in district courts, 26 patent cases at the Federal Circuit, eight cases at the ITC, and successfully resolved over 300 other patent cases.
