Fish & Richardson, a global leader in intellectual property and patent litigation, continues to broaden its science-and technology-educated attorney roster with the addition of two new associates, Arya Moshiri and J. Kain Day, to its Silicon Valley-located office.
Admitted to the State Bar of California late last year, Day’s broad legal practice focuses on commercial, trade secret and patent litigation matters.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2018. During law school, Day served on the Virginia Journal of International Law’s Editorial Board and as a judicial intern to the Honorable S. Bernard Goodwyn for the Supreme Court of Virginia. In 2015, he received his B.S. in Applied Mathematics and B.A. in Philosophy, both summa cum laude, from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Moshiri, who served as a summer associate with the firm and is admitted to practice matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, centers his practice on patent prosecution.
Twice a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Moshiri received his J.D. from the Hastings College of Law in 2018 where he served as Executive Technology Editor for the Hastings Law Journal. Moshiri received his B.S. in Physics in 2014 from the University of California, San Diego.
