RJI CPAs, an international accounting firm based in Orange County, CA, proudly announces the elevation of Manuel J. Ramirez, CPA, MST, FABFA, to the role of President of DFK USA.
Ramirez will lead DFK USA in its efforts to support and grow DFK USA and the international network, which consists of over 200 independent accounting firms (over 450 member offices) in nearly 100 countries, the 4th largest worldwide.
“As President for 2024, our goal will be to expand the collaboration of affiliate firms in the US and deepen our connections with our international affiliates to better assist our diverse international clientele in achieving their financial goals,” said Ramirez. “I am honored to lead the distinguished professionals who serve on the board of directors of DFK USA.”
Ramirez has served as Chairman of RJI CPAs since 2013 and previously served as its CEO, commencing in 1993. The firm was launched over 40 years ago and specializes in providing expertise and insights that help international and USA based public, private and nonprofit organizations achieve their business goals. Ramirez began his career in public accounting in 1981 in Orange County, California. He has experience in international tax and consulting with financial agencies, governmental institutions, healthcare providers, publicly traded companies, real estate developers, nonprofit organizations, and privately held enterprises. He believes this opportunity will benefit his international clients by further developing relationships with the 455 member offices in approximately 100 countries around the world.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Ramirez as a California Board of Accountancy member in 2007. In January 2010, Ramirez was elected President of the California Board of Accountancy. He is also very involved in the community, where he was co-founder and first Chairman of the board of the Hispanic 100 PAC, served as former Chairman and President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Orange County and was co-founder of the Orange County Catholic Foundation – to name just a few.
Ramirez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from California State University, Fullerton; a Master of Science in Tax Law from Golden Gate University; and is a Certified Public Accountant in California.
