Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Moody Blues will perform at Wine D¹Vine, an exclusive concert to benefit Walden Family Services¹ programs for foster youth and children, on November 2, 2018, at the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla, California.

Concert-goers will experience an intimate evening with The Moody Blues as they perform to a limited number of guests. The iconic English band is a pioneer of symphonic rock and has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide since 1964, including 18 multi-platinum and gold albums. According to Rolling Stone, ³The Moody Blues are still the Sistine Chapel of popular music.”

The band¹s first concept album, Days of Future Passed, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017, and is still in heavy rotation on rock playlists. Singles such as ³Nights in White Satin² and ³Tuesday Afternoon² helped define an era in which rock music gave voice to artistic and philosophical thought, paving the way for musicians to come.

³We¹re so excited to have The Moody Blues play for us,² said Walden CEO Teresa Stivers. ³I¹ve been thinking about the lyrics of their song ŒQuestion¹ and they really resonate with what we¹re trying to do for our kids: ŒI¹m looking for someone to change my life. I¹m looking for a miracle in my life.¹ Wine D¹Vine is going to give these kids that miracle.²

More recent Moody Blues hits like ³The Voice,² ³I Know You¹re Out There Somewhere² and ³Your Wildest Dreams² gained popularity with new audiences and bound their place in the hearts of rock and roll fans everywhere.

Past Wine D¹Vine headliners include John Fogerty and Peter Frampton, both of whom performed concert sets that will be remembered as once-in-a-lifetime experiences by those lucky enough to attend.

Sponsorship opportunities with tickets for Wine D¹Vine are available online at www.waldenfamily.org/wine-dvine-2018 or by contacting  Kathryn Stephens, Director of Philanthropy, at (619) 727-5897 or [email protected]
