Teresa Y. Warren
President

Before founding TW2 in 1992, Teresa was an in-house marketing director for a large San Diego law firm where she gathered extensive knowledge about the legal system and legal services. She also worked for several years in agencies servicing clients in various industries, including a major New York based financial institution and multiple real estate entities. In total, she has more than 30 years of experience working in the areas of marketing, media relations/visibility, public relations and training.

Teresa has received multiple awards and recognitions, including being honored as the founder of one of San Diego’s Most Admired Companies of 2011 by SD Metro Magazine. She is also quoted as an expert in professional service marketing, and regularly speaks and writes articles on various marketing and media issues.

A strong believer in giving back to the community, Teresa has served on several boards of non-profit organizations including the San Diego Education Fund, State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and the San Diego County Bar Foundation. She also enjoys mentoring young professionals who are seeking careers in marketing and/or starting their own business. Teresa is a member of San Diego Press Club, Run Women Run and the San Diego County Bar Association.

Jennifer Whitelaw
Senior Consultant

Jennifer is the founder of award-winning Whitelaw Marketing, Inc., which after eight years in existence was acquired by TW2 in 2007. Her experience in marketing, research, advertising campaign design, public relations and film & video production helps her guide clients toward realizing their marketing objectives.

Her industry experience includes real estate, banking/financial services, arts/entertainment, non-profit and professional services firms. Jennifer's work has earned her an AMY award from American Marketing Association, an Emmy award from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and a Telly award.

Jennifer served for several years on the board of Urban Land Institute San Diego/Tijuana District Council, as president of Citizens Coordinate for Century 3 and as a member of the Downtown San Diego Partnership public facilities committee. Through her professional and educational experience, she has extensive knowledge about real estate, sustainable design and sustainable practices.

Elizabeth Velic
Account Manager

Elizabeth joined TW2 in July 2010 after starting and running her own virtual assistant business. Elizabeth also worked as an educator for the San Diego Unified School District as both a special education teacher serving kindergarten through third graders with severe disabilities and as a first grade teacher in the general curriculum.

Elizabeth utilizes her strong organization skills in overseeing much of the day-to-day operations of TW2 as well as managing many of the administrative details for clients.

Sarah Austin
 Account Manager

Sarah joined TW2 as an intern in 2010, while working on her bachelor’s degree at San Diego State University, and secured a full time position with the firm upon graduation in 2012.

Sarah contributes her extensive knowledge of social media and excellent communication skills to the TW2 team. Her areas of expertise include social media creation and management across multiple platforms, media outreach and relations, writing/editing of press and content materials and more.

Most recently, Sarah helped to establish and now oversees TW2’s award-winning video division. She is responsible for all videography, editing and post-production. She has earned three Excellence in Journalism Awards from the San Diego Press Club for her video work.

Carol McAvoy 
 Senior Consultant

Carol is Principal at Carol McAvoy Consulting. She brings TW2's clients a wealth of experience in creating and managing successful marketing strategy, market research, client relations and business development programs.



Courtney Bustillos 
Consultant

Courtney has ten years of experience in television news, working as an Emmy award-winning reporter and anchor in San Diego and Palm Springs. Most recently, Courtney spent five years anchoring the San Diego 6 morning weekend show.

Her producing and reporting background adds a unique dimension to TW2 when it comes to helping clients gain broadcast coverage and prepare for media interviews through specialized training. Courtney also writes and produces corporate and educational videos for clients.

April Harter-Enriquez 
Consultant

In addition to running a boutique public relations firm in San Diego, April contributes her extensive knowledge in real estate PR to TW2 Marketing.

She has worked as a publicist in the greater San Diego and Los Angeles regions for several years, serving clients across a variety of industries, including real estate, non profit, education, weddings/hospitality and more.

April has a communication degree from University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and is certified in Sustainable Business Practices by UCSD Extension. She is an active member of the San Diego Press Club where she serves on the board of directors as second vice president. In 2010, the Public Relations Society of America named April New Professional of the Year.

Renee Mullen
Consultant

Renee has worked in public relations and marketing since 1991. Known for her creative approach to assist clients in expanding their public relations, investor relations and marketing communications, Renee has worked in house for several large corporations.

Renee has held senior level positions at Countrywide Financial Corporation, AMN Healthcare and Esquire Court Reporting. In these positions she was recognized for improving corporate relationships with Wall Street and enhancing her executive teams’ credibility in the investment community. Renee’s experience also includes international development and urban planning. She has worked for The Roston Company, City of Carlsbad and Town of Danville. She also worked for several years in the banking industry.

Renee has served on the board of directors and as president of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).
